Noble graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1964. He accepted Christ at an early age and served faithfully in the church as a deacon and through several other auxiliaries. On July 8, 1967, he united with Maureen Moore, his best friend and soul mate in holy matrimony. Until Maureen was called home to be with the Lord in 2006, together, they lived life to the fullest. They loved the Lord, they loved their family, they loved their friends, they loved their children, and they loved each other.
Noble was drafted into the United States Army in October of 1966, and served honorably in the Vietnam War. Noble went on to work as a warehouseman for Sears and Roebuck for over 20 years, where he retired. Noble’s biggest passion was his love for sports officiating. While he tried several sports, he spent over 30 years as a baseball, softball, and volleyball official on the little league, high school, and college levels.
Noble was a strong and loving Man of God. He served the role of “Dad” for not only his daughters and granddaughter, but for many other friends and family members as well. His kind-hearted spirit was infectious. He loved his Steelers and his Lakers, but his love for the Los Angeles Dodgers was deep and unwavering.
He leaves to carry on his spirit…. his daughters, Tracey Phang and Terri Grinner, both of Las Vegas, NV; one granddaughter and best friend, Malaysia Phang; four brothers, Benjamin Clansy, Ronald Wilson, Rowland Manuel, and Aubrey Manuel; two sisters, Lynn Manuel and Laura Manuel; one brother-in-law, Abe Moore; one sister-in-law, Zeora Richardson; his Godchildren, Tiffany Davis, Calvin Nelson Jr., Adrianne Gillyard, Andre Gillyard, and Donald Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and long-loving family and friends.
