Born on August 13, 1941, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Sylvester and Lillian Phillips, Patricia lived her life with strength, independence, and a vibrant spirit that touched all who knew her. Family was always at the heart of everything she did—she was the kind of person who was always available to talk, to lend an ear, and to offer her wisdom and unwavering support.
Patricia’s home was a reflection of her style and energy—always decorated with a modern flair and a keen eye for detail. She loved to dance, a joy that began with childhood ballet and stayed with her throughout her life. Whether it was her appreciation for artists like Toby Keith and Jimmy Buffett, her love of scotch, or her regular adventures in Las Vegas, Patricia lived life on her own terms and enjoyed it fully. Vegas held a special place in her heart—penny slots, Margaritaville, and the Players Clubs at Caesars Properties and Aliante were among her favorite indulgences.
A strong, independent woman, Patricia kept herself informed about the world and appreciated the people around her deeply. She will be remembered for her warmth, her loyalty, her sense of humor, and her deep devotion to her loved ones.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eldon Schultz; and her siblings Sally (Danny) Chapman, Claire (William “Scotty”) Hall, Robert “Bob” Phillips, and sister-in-law Bonnie Phillips.
Patricia is survived by her children Laura (Dale) Robinson, Steve (Mittie) Tumey, and Connie (Wes) Greuel; and her cherished grandchildren Garrett, Taylor, Parker, Samantha, and Max.
