Praying for the family. Pat was a very good  next door neighbor.

On a hike some years ago, Pat and I mentioned that we were both from Massachusetts.  Later, amazingly, in our conversation we discovered we were actually related and our friendship grew from there.

I will miss my friend, relative Pat, and also our sharing of many photos and stories of our much loved cats, mine and her Lucy.  They could always make us smile.

From a Boston sistah to a Brockton sistah, rest in peace  after your long battle.

I grew to know Pat through the MGM purchasing dept. I loved going down past the loading docks to visit my mother in law Shirley, Pat, Enola, and the others who truly adored me and always had snacks and samples. But Pat and I, in particular, shared a bond that was instant and effortless. Pat’s quick wit and gripping honesty could catch you off guard;  letting you know how she really felt.  In the fondest sense of the term, Pat was No Bullshit and seemed to read ME like an older sister.  “You be careful Bobby,” she would say in a MORE than sincere voice, quickly look right through me  and  address the shenanigans she knew I was up to without ever having to go there. I understood…and  Pat knew…period.

Pat Walker had old school class, the honesty of a judge, and courage like no other person I have met.  I know Pat is still watching out for me and that our “connection” was  more  than  happenstance, SHE was a blessing  and a friend I loved. 
            You inspire me Pat.

Thru all the many years of our friendship, we shared good and
not so good times.   Pat's determination and dignity pulled her
thru so many of life's hardships.

I feel fortunate to have had her for  my friend.

Chris, Jeff, Ann, Kathy and the rest of Pat's family, I want to offer my condolences.  I had the pleasure of being Pat's friend for 25 years.  Throughout those years I witnessed her continuous battle with a variety of cancer diagnoses.  She handled each one with grace and dignity and ALWAYS came out the other side smelling like a rose.  She is the strongest woman I have ever known and I am thankful  that she taught me how to stand up for myself as well as advocate for my healthcare.   I will miss her laugh,  her sense of humor, and most of all her friendship.
