Paul Mitchell Niemeyer, 63, of Las Vegas, passed away July 2, 2011. He was born March 6, 1948, in Ridgecrest, Calif., and resided in Nevada since 1970. He retired from union electronics and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his sister, Leah. Paul is survived by his wife, of 43 years, Laura Lee Niemeyer of Las Vegas; daughters, Shelly Cihak and her husband, Cliff of Reno, Carrie Ayala and her husband, Mark of Las Vegas, and Andi Lou and her husband, Tom of Las Vegas; son, Clifton Niemeyer of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Ciara, Tristan, Ashley, Jordan, Haylee and Brodi; and brothers, Charlie, Terry and Robert. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Friday, July 8, with service following, both at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
