Philip K. Boyns, 67, a retired nuclear physicist, of Las Vegas, passed away January 21, 2011. He was born April 27, 1943, in Payson, Utah, and was a 45-year resident of Nevada. Philip is survived by his son, Troy A. Boyns of North Las Vegas; granddaughter, Caelin L. Boyns of Las Vegas; daughter, Britt B. Harrison, son-in-law Kurtis E. Harrison and grandson, Chase L. Harrison of Burton, Michigan; and sisters, Carol Brockett of Palm Springs, California, and Patsy Smith of Las Vegas. There will be a party in his honor 5:00pm - 7:00pm on Thursday, January 27, at Los Prados Country Club, 5150 Los Prados Circle.
