What a wonderful life Richard lived and shared with his family and friends. We will always find his loving commitment  to his cherished wife, Gloria, and his daughters, Elena, Susan and Donna, an example to follow.  Dinners at the Castricone home were lively and filled with conversation that reflected devotion to God, church, great food, friends, community, the New England Patriots and last, but never least, the New York Yankees.  Richard wrapped up those family dinners with coffee and Bailey’s.

Too Many Memories to Share.  What a blessing our neighborhood was-a family.  So lucky to spend hours playing basketball, catching baseballs, eating popcorn, out door barbeques, swimming, jogging, truly the good life.  Richard was a friend, a coach, a father figure, a Knight, and always had time for his family and extended family of neighborhood friends.  Thank you for all the Blessings, the laughter, the learning, and most of all, always remembering- for staying in our lives, and being a strong shoulder when needed.  Your earth years will be missed, Richard, and somehow, I imagine you will be causing a ruckus with the angels while keeping an eye on your family.  Always with them. Gloria I am deeply sorry for your loss. My cousin Richard and I grew up together along with his brother, Donald and the rest of our cousins, too many to name, in the same neighborhood . We also attended the same schools together and really had many great childhood memories playing  games like cowboys and indians, etc. Those were the popular games back in those days. I was fortunate to spend some time with him when I visited  Las  Vegas several years ago and we got to play some golf together. You both were kind enough to invite me to your home several times for great dinners. I saw him last about two or three years ago and will remember  those memories with fondness forever. Sergio and I have wonderful memories of our many times together with you and Richard in Las Vegas and New York.   Lots of laughs...great food.....your daughters... your brother Anthony !!!  Just remember the good times you had with Richard  and a long, happy married life together.  We are sure that your Faith will help and guide you through your grief. Dear Gloria, Donna, Elanor, Susan and family.
I will hold Richard in my heart forever, we had so many great times cooking and doing Knights gigs together. We became so close and had a bit of a father and son relationship and I was blessed to know him.
May God bless you all and keep you in his favor.   I'm so glad Richard and I talked  not so long ago and relived a few nice moments. GRUMPY was just that at times but very caring and loving when needed to be, a good balance.
I'll send youse some home brew when I can.
