Richard R. Gosselin of Las Vegas, NV died at home after a courageous 16-month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Leominster, MA the son of the late Raymond and Dora (Bastrache) Gosselin but considered Hawaii his home. He retired from the United States Air Force and the US Postal Service. He was an avid sports fan and loved golfing, swimming, his dogs and gadgets. Survived by his wife of 26 years, Stanette Gosselin; son, Jeffrey Gosselin; daughter, Kerri Coleman and her husband TR Coleman; grandson, Lane Ray Coleman; sister-in-law, Joyce (Saucier) Gosselin; niece, Kristine Kessler and nephew Scott Gosselin. The family would like to thank the amazing staff of Mountain View Hospital and especially Dr. Christopher Choi and Dr. Brian Vicuna for their wonderful care and compassion. Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Funeral Services from 7-8 pm Friday, Oct. 17 at Palm Mortuary, 7400 West Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89129. Burial is being scheduled for the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Hawaii.
