Richard J. "Dick" Sheldon, 75 passed away in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 30, 2011. He was born October 26, 1935 in New York City, New York and had been a resident of Nevada since 1993. He was a retired Chief Operating Officer of a Meat Packing Company and had worked the last four years in Fleet Services with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. He loved working in Fleet Services. He also really enjoyed golfing. Dick is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy of Las Vegas; daughter, Leslie Ann Sheldon of Denver, Colorado and son, Martin Neal Sheldon of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 4:00pm at Palm Mortuary Chapel, 7400 W. Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada.
