The world lost a shining star when Robert Kirk "Bob" Davidson, 60, passed away Jan. 23, 2016, losing his battle with cancer. Bob was born Dec. 19, 1955, in Los Angeles, and was an avid amateur astronomer and ham radio operator, handle NV7NV. He worked at the Mirage Hotel for more than two decades as a porter. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Patti Davidson; his two daughters, Heather Davidson and Holly Kirk; his grandson, Braxton Kirk; his mother, Faith White; and two sisters, Anne and Kathy Davidson. Memorial services will be private.
