Robert Raymond Kennon

Robert Raymond Kennon, 89, of Las Vegas passed away on April 25, 2018. He was born to his parents, Dove Ann and Henry Leo Kennon in Esther, Missouri on March 27, 1929. Robert enlisted in the US Navy and was honorably discharged on November 24, 1952 as a Petty Officer 3rd Class. He retired as a US Postal Carrier. He became an ordained Baptist Minister. He was a member of National Association of Letter Carriers, Masonic Lodge #214 in Ventura, CA, Scottish Rite in Las Vegas, NV and Zelzah Shriner’s Temple in Las Vegas, NV. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn May Kennon, his parents, his siblings, Willis Ray Kennon, Dorothy Marie Humphrey, Walter Leo Kennon, Chester Edward Kennon, Hayden Eugene Kennon and his step daughter, Shari Alene Watson. Robert is survived by his wife, Marilyn Lantor-Kennon; his children, Francis Leo Kennon and wife Debbie of Bullhead City, AZ, James Robert Kennon and wife Patsy of Ringgold, GA, John Paul Kennon and wife Lilla of Ringgold, GA; his stepsons, Nyles Adin Lantor of Austin, TX, Barnet David Lantor of St George, UT and Jeff Steven Lantor of Ventura, CA; his siblings, Harold Richard Kennon of Joplin, MO, Wyman Dale Kennon and wife Shirley of High Ridge, MO, WandaLee Watts of Joplin, MO and Edna May Pinkston and husband Charles of Bonne Terre, MO; 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 Great-great grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held on May 8, 2018 at 5:00PM at the Los Prados Clubhouse, 5150 Los Prados Cir, Las Vegas, NV 89130.
