I am so sad to hear this. I want the family to know Sue had a tremendous impact on my life while I was at Caesars. She was powerful, kind, generous with her time with me, a mentor and someone I looked up to very much. With my deepest sympathy. Penny Truttmann 

Lizzie & Dominick - 

Most of my favorite memories of working at Caesars somehow included your mom.   And no matter the situation, your mom could make anyone laugh.  That laugh was infectious.

She used to come over early for meetings and we would catch up on our families -  she was so very proud of both of you.  Sue was such a smart, intelligent, classy lady - but her biggest pride was the two of you.   I miss sharing stories with her -- and I miss her laugh.

I had the pleasure of knowing your mom for 40+ years of my life. We were childhood sweethearts and were married for almost twenty years.  We shared a lot of wonderful times together and we’re blessed with becoming parents to our beautiful children. 
Your mom was always so proud of the young adults you have become. Her love, memories and values she taught you both will always be with you.  She loved you both with a kind of an amazing love only a mother could share with her children. 
Your mom will be missed but never forgotten. 
Cherish the time you got to spend with her and rejoice in her after life in heaven.

I was saddened to learn of your Mothers passing.  Sue was a fun person to be around and because of that she has given me some great memories that create big smiles.  I will miss her visits to Maine and New Hampshire.

Liz and Dominick,

I worked with your mom at Caesars and she was one of my absolute favorite people there. Whenever I needed a good laugh or a dose of reality, I would stop in her office, and I always left happier or wiser. She spoke of both of you often - she was an intelligent and resourceful lawyer, yes, but most of all a mom. And such a good friend. I miss her dearly, and send you both all of my love, but know that she will live on in both of you.

Sue and I were colleagues for over ten years at Caesars Entertainment. She was one of the most talented lawyers that I have ever had the pleasure of working with in my more than over forty years. I have so many memories of Sue because we worked side by side on so many different regulatory and compliance issues, including many very sensitive internal investigations. But my favorite memories of Sue all revolve around fun. My last couple of years at Caesars were primarily focused on the Caesars bankruptcy and exiting Chapter 11, which required the approval of the exit plan by all of our gaming regulators. As a result, Sue and I crossed the country together meeting with all of Caesars’s regulators. We spent so much time together and were often flying on one the company’s planes as the only two passengers. We would spend our flight times talking about life and just generally laughing. I enjoyed her company immensely. The laughter, smiles, jokes we share together on those trips are precious to me and I pray they were for her as well. She always. always urged me to just be happy. One of the best persons I have ever known left us all way, way too early. 

Sue was a terrific person, friend and colleague.  She loved her family.  She was a consummate professional and trusted source to get a job done.  She will be sorely missed.  Our sincere sympathies to the Carletta family.

I worked with Sue for a long time, first at IGT, then we found ourselves working together again at Caesars. We were pregnant with our daughters a few months apart. Sue will always be part of a special menory in our family. She brought then-baby Lizzie to visit my daughter, who was crawling and flirting with walking. She was so excited to see the baby, she walked across the room to see her. Her first steps. We laughed about that. I always appreciated her sense of humor and missed seeing her after I left Caesars. My deepest sympathies to her children, family, and close friends. 

I had the privilege to have worked with Sue for 4.5 years at Caesars and found her to be one the most pleasant, smart, and helpful colleagues I have ever experienced. She helped personally and professionally through the licensing process in 14 states and two countries. She cared about all aspects of her job such that there were no boundaries of  hours she would put into any situation.  We wouldn’t have been able to get out of our highly contested bankruptcy without her.  I could talk to her about any issue and know her advice and confidentiality were golden.  She had the integrity of an Angel and she was just that to both the company and others she helped. I loved her sense of humor and her realism of life….we would talk and talk past our meeting times because she was so good to be around.  She had the ability to be both ruthless when necessary to fight for the company or use kid gloves to handle a board member, or regulator. Above all she was a great human being who added so much value everyday to everyone she touched, whether her children, her peers, or her staff.   I miss you greatly Sue and only wish you could have stayed with us for a much longer time…it feels so unfair but I know your soul will continue to touch all of us who knew you.       Your mom was a very special woman and loved you both so much. She would come in and make us all laugh. I have missed her and you both.  I will keep all of you in my prayers.

I want to extend my sympathies to Sue’s family.  I was fortunate enough to work with Sue at Caesars and got a chance to see what a remarkable woman she was.  May the memories of her charismatic personality and her many professional and personal contributions be celebrated by all.  

Sue was part of my Caesars family for a long time. We had some great laughs and got in trouble together.  The world has lost a truly special person. 

Lizzie and Dominick, I positively adored your mom and count amongst the many blessings in my professional life that I was able to work with her and learn from her for so many years at Caesars.  She was one of the smartest and funniest people I’ve even known.  Sending lots of love to your family.

Sue was an amazing woman.  I was fortunate to know and work with her.  She will be missed by all.

I worked with Sue for nearly fourteen years at Caesars.  What I think I'll miss most about Sue is her sense of humor.   She had the best laugh!  Even though she had a stressful job, she was always kind, always wore a smile and always brought laughter to our day.

My condolences to her children who have lost their mom way too soon.

I was fortunate to have worked with Sue for the 7 years I worked at Caesars. Sue exemplified strength and resilience in the gaming industry. I will hold onto the times we shared laughing and socializing and appreciate the guidance she shared with me professionally.  Rest in Peace and my condolences to all family and friends.

I was lucky to work with Sue at Caesars. She was always kind and helpful to me, and I admired her as a highly-visible, expert woman leader in the company. I remember being in a large, very important meeting with Sue once -- we were two of only a few women in the room. I always felt she was supportive and set an inspiring example. I am so sad to hear of her illness and passing, she was such an accomplished and lovely person. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

I'd like to express my deepest sympathies to the Carletta family. I don't know the family, but Sue and I accidentally followed each other's careers for  20+ years ...between her work at IGT and then at Caesars. A sweeter more generous,  knowledgeable  and helpful person ...is hard if not impossible to find . We spoke recently and she did not mention her illness .  Courageous and wonderful to the end.  I'm lucky to have worked so often with Sue. May you be spared further grief and may her memory be a blessing.
