Susan H Laman

Susan Laman passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015. Born April 16, 1940 in Ogden, Utah and was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Susan graduated from the University of Utah in 1963 with a Bachelors Degree in Food and Nutrition. Susan was a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority and worked as a dietician at various hospitals in Las Vegas.

Susan was a mother to Lori Ahlstrom, Kenneth Hardy, Linda Werner, Rick Laman, Bobby Laman Jr., Gina Jackson, David Laman, Patrick Laman, Paula Gorski, Vince Pompei, and Steven Laman. Susan had 27grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was a very caring and loving person who always found ways to provide joy and happiness to those around her, especially with her cooking and craftwork.

Susan was preceded in death by her husband Robert F. Laman Sr., mother Maxine Hibbard, father Forrest Hibbard, and sister Lyda Kempner.

Susan is also survived by her siblings Jim Hibbard, Margaret Yaeger, Phyllis Bingham, and Robert Hibbard.

There will be a viewing on Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m at Palm Northwest Mortuary 6701 N. Jones Boulevard with a Rosary Service beginning at 4:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Las Vegas 3050 W. Alta Rd. Following the funeral service a gravesite dedication will take place at Palm Northwest Cemetery 6701 N. Jones Boulevard. A Celebration of Life will then take place at the Desert Shores Community Clubhouse 2500 Regatta Drive.
