Susano Cloribel Dumagan

Sonny was born on August 11, 1939, in Bohol, Central Visayas, Philippines. In 1962, he immigrated to the United States with a group of men who became his lifelong friends, fondly known as the Spirit of ’62. Together, they worked in the fields throughout California’s Central Valley, with many eventually settling in Salinas, where Sonny built a life and lasting community.

On July 9, 1983, Sonny married the love of his life, Purification (Puri). Together, they shared 42 years of marriage, raising a blended family and later moving from Salinas to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sonny was a proud and loving father to six children, five from his first marriage to Elsie and one with Puri as well as three stepsons. He is survived by his beloved wife, Puri, and his children: Cecilia (Tim), Belinda (Alex), Juana (Anthony), Michael (Susan), Mark (Catherine), Susan (Bryant), Eugene (Liezl), Elson, and Erwene (Maricar). He is also remembered with love by his 19 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

A visitation and service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Palm Mortuary Northwest, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.

A celebration of life for Susano will be held Friday, October 3, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Northwest, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.

A second celebration of life for Susano will be held Friday, October 3, 2025 from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM at Starboard Tack - 2601 Atlantic St, Las Vegas, NV 89121
