Sybil A Brown

Sybil Anderson Brown, 95, passed away peacefully at home on January 23, 2022. She was born September 19,1926 in St. George, Utah. After graduating from Dixie State College, she began working full-time in the medical office of Drs. A.W. McGregor & L.W. McGregor. After six years working at the McGregor’s office she began her career with the US Forest Service as a Finance Officer. She was very proud that after 30 years she retired in 1986 as an Administrator Officer. Sybil kept extremely busy during retirement playing golf as much as five days a week, traveled throughout the world enjoying the country of Italy the most. She also kept active by volunteering at St. Rose Hospital and preparing taxes for members of AARP. She is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, James W. Brown. She is survived by daughter, Susan Kilburn; son, Daniel Brown; stepchildren Jim Brown Jr., Buster, & Virginia Mantz, six grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

Services will be held Saturday, January 29, at the LDS church, 2091 Wigwam Pkwy, Henderson. Viewing at 10 am, service at 10:30 am.
