

Sylvia was born in Fagersta, Sweden on August 8 1930 .She emigrated to the United States at the tender age of 18 and later became a proud citizen of the country she then called home. Sylvia was a shining light to all those she encountered. She loved to travel taking many cruises to numerous destinations. She was barely back from a cruise when she was already planning the next one. She also enjoyed traveling around the USA by car from all four corners of this country as well as flying to Hawaii. She made many trips up to canada and the east coast . She also enjoyed visiting casinos theaters and restaurants, but the one thing she loved most of all was her family . They were her life and she was very generous in helping out her children and grandchildren. She was a very giving person not only in materialistic matters but also from matters of the heart. She wanted to help everyone she could including strangers on the street. She could never pass up a homeless person without stopping to give them money. That was her nature , kind ,loving and generous.
Our mother was preceded in death by her parents Karl Helmer Lindgren and Gerda Lindgren , her husband of 45 years, George Zuehls, her two sons Larry Zuehls and Randy Zuehls , her grandson Brian Zuehls , and her sister Sonja Okano.
Sylvia is survived by four children Dale, Linda, Joann and Rozann, ten grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by very special people Lillian Wurm and Maj-Lis Janzon.
Graveside services to be held at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier California , date not set.
