

Teodora R. Dyoco, 75, a retired Medical Technologist, of Las Vegas, passed away June 27, 2011. She was born May 20, 1936 in Malolos, Bulacan, Philippines, and had been a resident of Nevada since 1999.
Teodora was the first grandchild and was loved by everyone. One of her hobbies as a child was playing the piano. She had a very conservative upbringing with her Lola (Grandmother) in Malolos Bulacan, Philippines.
She attended Holy Spirit Academy. She was liked by her classmates. Her personality was very jovial and she had an award winning smile. Being very popular, Teodora was the life of all parties. She loved to entertain, so, she would have parties and invite everyone. Nonetheless, her grandparents pushed her to excel in school and work. Teodora graduated from Holy Spirit Academy in 1952.
Teodora attended the University of Santo Thomas and graduated with honors in 1956. She worked as a pharmacist in a store leased for her by her mother. After college, she earned a grant to attend college in the United States as an exchange student to study medical technology in Chicago. She also traveled and worked in Canada.
She had married her true love, Reynaldo on March 19, 1980 and they were together for 31 years.
Her proudest careers and civic involvements were being a Blood Bank Supervisor at Columbus Hospital, a Chemistry Lab Supervisor at St. Therese Hospital, and becoming an entrepreneur as a tax preparer in Las Vegas, Nevada. She also enjoyed helping people in need with her time, money and/or knowledge.
Becoming a wife, mother, and grandmother were three of the proudest moments of her life. Celebrating her 75th birthday with her family and friends in the Philippines was the pinnacle of happiness for her before she passed.
Teodora was preceded in death by her mother, Francisca Alarcon; and her two siblings, Bebot and Pat. Teodora is survived by her husband, Reynaldo Dyoco; her daughter, Reyanne (Eric) Berner; grandchildren, Arianne and Matthew; her sister, Nila; her brothers, Sonny, Romy, and Eddie; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved her dearly. A Visitation on July 2nd from 2pm-6pm, and her Funeral Service will immediately follow the visitation at Palm Mortuary, 1600 South Jones Blvd.
