Tommy Welch Cashen

Tommy Welch Cashen, age 65, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Born September 19, 1956 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Tommy was the son of Fritz Hulen Cashen and Sonia Elaine Romans. At the young age of 17 he enlisted into the greatest Military service, the United States Navy. He served as an aircraft mechanic supporting missions out of Adak Alaska. While stationed in California he met his wife of 46 years. He Honorably discharged from Naval Service in the winter of 1977. He began his new career in the Oil Field industry, working at locations through out the world.

Outside of his career, Tommy enjoyed spending time with his family including his sweetie, Bella, he was a gun enthusiast, avid collector of military memorabilia and on occasion you could find him on the blackjack tables.

He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather.

Tommy is survived by his Wife Sue Cashen, Children, Michael Cashen (Courtney Cashen), Lori Elliott (John Elliott) and Tommy J. Cashen; 6 grandchildren, Mara, Karissa, Madalyn, Colton, Charlee and Brody; great-grandchild, Jasper.

A celebration of life for Tommy will be held Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131, followed by a reception from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
