Vallye Faye Edwards

She is survived by two children; her son Mahlon Edwards Jr., his wife Kathleen and 3 grandchildren, Courtney, Amanda and Colby, all of Las Vegas, NV. A daughter, Melanie Wood of Portland, OR, grandson Timothy, his wife Jody and 2 great grandchildren, Ethan and Nicole of Portland, OR., nieces and nephews from Pasadena, Texas and Grants Pass, OR. Mrs. Edwards graduated from Pasadena High School and attending Macy Business College of Houston and Sam Houston State Teachers College of Huntsville, TX. She worked for the U.S. Government, retiring from the Justice Dept. after 30 years of service. She traveled with her military husband and children stateside and in foreign countries settling in Phoenix, AZ where they were members of the Desert Christian Fellowship Church until she moved to Las Vegas. She treasured her many friends not only in Phoenix and Las Vegas but those that lived all over the country. She doted on her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In 1996, she moved to Las Vegas and lived there until her death. Memorial Services will be held at Willow Creek Assisted Living Facility.
