W. Glen Odekirk, 63, a computer analyst in the marketing industry, of Las Vegas, passed away January 25, 2012. He was born March 25, 1948 in Logan, Utah, and had been a resident of Nevada since the mid 70’s. W. Glen served in the US Army in the Vietnam War in 1967 to 1968 and was awarded the Purple Heart. W. Glen is survived by his daughter, Odessa Odekirk; his grandson, Paul; his mother, Dorothy Odekirk; his brother, Roy Odekirk; and his sister, Toni Hammond. A visitation will be held on February 6, 2012 at Palm Mortuary, 7400 Cheyenne Blvd from 3 to 7pm. Funeral service will be held on February 7th at 12pm at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1900 Buchanan Blvd in Boulder City, NV 89005.Arrangements under the direction of Palm South Jones Mortuary, Las Vegas, NV.
