You were always a light in my day whenever we spoke! You were a good friend and very thoughtful. The things you posted in facebook-the things you said were always very kind and positive. I miss you, Jim

Jim was into his family, helping anyone that asked, & “little cars that go fast!”. He was a drummer and even auditioned for the Platters, & sat in with a band not too long ago. He was the father of our daughter Lisa. He was a good man & he’ll hold a special place in my heart.

Condolences to the family.  I met Jim when he worked at Safeway I believe 1964/65.  He would sometimes pick me and my girlfriends up from school and give us a ride home.  Back then everyone would go to the Teen Beat Club , the  lake or cruise Fremont St.  While I went on to Western High School he went to Vietnam.  I ran into him a couple of times when he worked at the phone company.  Three or four years ago I wanted to see if I could contact people from the good old Vegas Days.  Jim was one of the first four I tried to reach, needless to say he was the first to respond.  We talked about friends, family and covered about 50 years in each others life.  I learned he had a daughter and he lost his wife, how much he loved her and the love for his family.  We kept in contact off and on for the last three to four years.  With all of his health problems he never failed to ask about how my parents and  kids were doing.  My last contact was March 29th.  I will and I know so many more will also miss his posts and messages.  I will never forget his voice and his caring heart.  He will be looking over all of us from Heaven.

Condolences and blessings to the family on Jim's passing.  It was a privilege to have been his friend and work associate for over 25 years. He touched everyone he came in contact with. I can recall all of his regular customers and the hotels and how they adored him for his efforts and personality.  I am sure Heaven is a brighter place now. 

My sincere condolences to the family, Jimmy  was a great friend; we beat the same ground in Nam  and worked together for about  40 yrs.. I will always remember him at the Teen Beat club. Jimmy with his great humor and super big heart for all. heaven gained a great  helper …  SB
