Had the privilege to know Bill. He was one of the funniest people on earth. If you had to go through a door Bill was a stand up guy you could count on.

Less laughter in our lives now. And a thousand real police stories that'll never get told. In his last weeks, he'd tell me, Padre, God's will be done, not mine, and the words came from the center of his soul. When I hung up the phone, I always felt like an atheist after talking to Billy. I'm so glad I knew him. Prayers for Sue and family and loyal friends...you rode this nasty roller coaster with him right up to the end.

I am so very sorry to hear this awful news.  My prayers to you, Sue, and the entire Facchini family.  Working with Bill was one of the best times of my life.  I learned a lot from him, and I laughed a lot with him.  Billy was a very generous and unique person, and he knew how to call it like it was.  Billy Facchini will never be forgotten.
