Bonnie Loraine Smith born March 23 1958 in High Point North Carolina, and reborn in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Bonnie blessed us with a daughter, 3 beautiful granddaughters, 3 amazing Sisters, a wonderful son in law and so much more family.
Bonnie's famous phrase ,"Right, Wrong, or Indifferent." Words cannot express how you have impacted this world and numerous lives. You mean so much to me, to us, and to everyone you have been in contact with. Somehow If you needed something and never said a word, she would know and already made it happen. And never asked for anything in return. She's the one you could go to for any advice and knew for sure she'd be positive, honest, yet fair, but mostly wouldn't bullshit you. She is THE TYE DYE QUEEN!! LOL. And even though we know tye dye history. She not only kept it alive, but made the appreciation for it that much greater!
She was a Florida lovin, beach tannin, sea shell collectin, Ron Jon wearin, tye dye makin, comedian sayin, parent guidin, grandma spolin, up at the Crack of dawn expectin, coffee drinkin, & bargain huntin. Bonnie's every encounter has changed lives AND continues to make us better. She is the pure essence and persona of woman, parent, friend, manager, and being, we all strive for and want to be.
Bonnie was the most positive, up lifted person that seized every moment of her life. She was every one's spirit guide, motivator , cheerleader.
Bonnie and her only daughter, Heather were inseparable. Having Heather at a young age. They grew up together. They were so close. Sisters, soulmates ,mother and daughter. She was great friends with her daughters friends.
She will live through music and colors.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter Heather Lorraine Petty-harris. 3 amazing granddaughters Chloe,Cali and Jaelin, her amazing son -in-law Jonas Petty-harris, her sisters Nancy and Linda, her nephews Adam and Chase, her niece Stephanie, and her cousins Cathy and Lisa.
She will be missed terribly beyond words .
Until we meet again.
We will be having a celebration of life for Bonnie "Bon Bon" Woods on June 5, 2022 at 1:00pm to 4:00pm
