She served as a Girl Scout leader. She was very active at Dunwoody United Methodist Church as a participant and volunteer. Carolyn went on mission trips to Bulgaria and Brazil, served on the Altar Guild, and was a longtime member of the Spiritual Growth circle led by Esther Randolph. The Walk to Emmaus had a profound effect on her Christian faith.
She worked in property leasing and retail sales. She had a love and gift for interior design.
She had many friends and admirers. Carolyn was a good listener and not shy about giving advice. She had a strong faith in God. She will be missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Jan, of Atlanta, and an aunt, Patricia Karsell, of Carmel, Indiana.
Her memorial service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 2PM in the chapel at Campbell Stone Sandy Springs.
