Catharine O Moody

As a child, she joined the Second Baptist Church of Griffin. She graduated from Millner High School where she was a cheerleader and member of choir. After graduation, she married Harold Glass. Most of her life she spent being the best mother to six children and Granny Goose to her 16 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. After the death of Harold, Cathy married Jimmie Moody, she gained 3 stepchildren. She often referred to Jim as the love of her life. Dogs were an important addition to her life. She raised poodles for many years and always had at least one dog. At death, she had two dogs she dearly loved, Suzie and Tigger.

She spent the last six months at Dahlonega Assisted Living and Memory Center where she was loved by many. They particularly loved her little happy giggle. Donations can be made there in her name. The address is 55 Mechanicsville Rd Dahlonega, Ga 30533

She is survived by her children Daryl Glass, Jerrie and Lance Millican, Jeff Glass, Kay and Terry Dotson, Catharine LuAnne Smith, and Danny and Mari Glass, Chris and Mary Moody and Greg Moody and by her 51 grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands Harold Glass and Jimmie Moody.
