John W. Foster

Snellville, GA. John had a very successful 30 year career at Primerica Financial Services, most

recently running the printing operations in Lawrenceville, GA. John was born in Atsugi, Japan

to Capt. James R. Foster and Audrey J. Foster on March 1, 1968 while his family was stationed

overseas. He subsequently lived in Fairfax, VA, San Antonio, TX, and Worthington, OH before

moving to Norcross, GA in 1984. John graduated from Norcross High School in 1986 and

Suma Cum Laude from Georgia State in 1993. He was a letterman in football at Norcross High

School and he loved the Ohio State Buckeyes, but John’s greatest joy was being a father to his

only son Anton Foster. John was the youngest of five children. He was preceded in death by

his father, Capt. James R. Foster, his brother Mark R. Foster, grandparents, Lucelia and Charles

Foster and Jane and Paul Nickel. He is survived by his loving son, Anton Foster; his mother

Audrey J. Foster; brothers, Jim Foster, Dave Foster and Tom Foster; as well as their spouses

and Ann McDaniel Foster. The family will receive friends and family from 2:00-4:00 p.m.,

Tuesday, February 19th at advantage Funeral & Cremation Services in Lilburn, followed by a

celebration of John Foster’s life at 4:00 p.m.
