I worked with Matt for many years at Macy's and always a pleasure working with him.   Matt had a great welcoming smile and i can see his smiling face in my mind.   I pray he's at peace in heaven  smiling down at us all.    My prayers and condolences to Matt's family.  He was wonderful to work with. 

Matt and I both started around the same time at Macy's, and through the years and role changes, Matt was always there to help or teach about a tool or what he was working on.  He was always ready to give us that great grin and provide a quick joke! Just to break the ice sometimes. 

I'll miss our talks about everything, about what the heck the AV was doing now, and all around talking about life and raising kids with our "hallway meetings".  Sometimes it was about gaming and the latest hardware for a gaming rig :) 

I send my best wishes to Matt's wife and son, and the rest of his family. The Macy's family grieves with you.

I had the pleasure of working with Matt for almost 3 years. He was always quick with a smile. He was smart and did a great job. I know he loved his family. I wish his family comfort for how big of a positive impact he had on all of us that knew him during working hours. He made our work life better.

Matt and I started around the same time at Macy's.  He was a good guy -  fun to talk to, reliable for anything I needed at work, and a personality you always felt comfortable around! He had a fun sense of humor and I enjoyed talking to him in the halls or at his cube during my two tours at Macy's.  It was always abundantly clear he loved his family so much.  I know he must have left wonderful memories to cherish.  To his family - may the love of those around you provide comfort and peace to get you through the days ahead. My most sincere condolences. 

I worked on the same team with Matthew for nearly 5 years at Macy's.  He always exhibited genuine kindness, perseverance, and a willingness to help anyone who needed it.  He was also very devoted to his family.  We appreciated each other's brand of humor and I always enjoyed joking around with him.  As many others have stated, he will definitely be missed.

I worked with Matt a little over 5 years and it was a pleasure working with him. He helped me out numerous times with McAfee issues and DAT signature updates. Matt was a great guy indeed. My condolences go out to your family.

I had the pleasure to work with Matt for several years. A kind, calm and goofy guy (when he wanted to be!). All of his peers will miss him. 

I didn't know Matthew, but I worked with his father (Ted) and brother (Josh) for many years.  Great family with great values.  My thoughts and prayers go out to you.   God bless.  

I've had the pleasure of working with Matt for the last 10 years, and it was a great experience.  Matt was a great person, with a great personality, who was always willing to help.  Rest in Peace, you will be missed!

I worked with Matt for 9 years.  He was one of nicest and gentle person I have known. He will be truly missed.  To his family - my deepest condolences to you.

I knew Matthew professionally for about 10 years. I work for McAfee and he used our products so I had close contact with him on a regular basis. Of course, he was smart and knowledgeable. But more importantly, he was a gentle and kind soul.

I haven't seen Matt in Person.  But he has created a lasting impression on the prompt replies that he delivered always.  Hope his family has the strength to withstand the heart broken loss.  

Matt ( or Matty Ice as I called him) trained me when I first got to Macy's over 3 years ago on the whole Certificate process. He was smart, funny and kind. Just like everyone else has said he was always willing to help. He loved his family and he has left us all way to soon. Sending prayers out to the family for strength during this difficult time. 

I worked with Matt for 12 years. As many have said on their post Matt was a funny easy going guy who was willing to help when needed. Matt you will be missed rest in peace.

I worked with Matt for a little over 5 years.  In my short time with him, I got to learn what a great guy Matt was.  He was always willing to help me out when I had a question.  He helped me feel welcomed and accepted on the team.  I also remember his quirky sense of humor - we had many laughs together.  I remember often seeing his son in the office and the pictures of his family on the desk. I could tell he really loved his family.  Matthew will be sorely missed. 

To his family - I am praying you find strength and comfort in this time of loss.  Use this time as a time of reflection.  Examine your own life in the light of how temporary this world is - no one has the promise of tomorrow.  We have one hope for the next life - Jesus Christ.  Seek Jesus with with all your heart and you will find Him. 

Matt was an amazing soul and a joy to know and work with at Macy's. I recall many meetings he came in prepared, professional and always courteous. The world needs more Matthew Francis Henneborns.

I was fortunate to work with Matt for 10 years. He is truly one of the most kind hearted people I've ever met. He always elevated the mood of any room he walked in.  I also never heard him say a negative thing about anyone and I am sure there is not a person out there that has a negative thing to say about him. 

Matt was always available to help. I remember far to many after hours calls  to his house about McAfee causing a problem... he never whined or complained.. just jumped right in to help solve the problem. 

He will be deeply missed. 

I was lucky enough to work with Matt and a chance to see what a great man he was.  It was a joy to work with him and I will never forget the warmth he brought to the office each and every day. I will miss him dearly and wanted to extend my sympathies to you and the family.

Matthew sat right next to me on the other side of the cubicle for the last 3 years. He mentioned that he was a Jehovah's Witness. And I talked to him about what I remember about growing up in the truth (my parents are Witnesses). My favorite memories are sharing StarTrek trivia over team lunches. It's nerdy, I know. :-) 
We all knew Timothy and saw how patient and loving Matthew was with him. He had a picture on his desk of YaKesha and spoke fondly of married life. Matthew was a pleasure to work with: reliable, intelligent, funny, and even-tempered. He will be missed. To his family - may you find comfort in your faith. 

I worked with Matt and sat next to him in the office. We were on the same team and would talk almost every day. Matt was a rare and genuinely good hearted person. He was always helpful to anyone and everyone. I enjoyed his sense of humor. I considered him a friend and will miss him.
