Anna Jane Marshall Mamallis passed away unexpectedly at home in Calabash, NC, on November 14, 2020.
Anna was born on March 14, 1945, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to her parents, Thomas J. Marshall and Anna Jane Pierce Marshall.
Anna was employed by and retired from CVS Pharmacy after 19 years. She was a regular volunteer at the Brunswick Senior Center in Calabash. Anna liked traveling, mani-pedis, ladybugs, and shopping—especially online for whimsical or practical household gadgets.
Anna is survived by her husband of 57 years, Nicholas Steven Mamallis; devoted cocker spaniel, Molly; and are proud parents of five girls; LuAnn Mamallis Masker (Leonard); Justina (“Tina”) Marie Mamallis; Beverly Mamallis Smith (Kevin); Anna Jane Mamallis Torcivia (Noel); and Nikki Leigh Mamallis; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Thomas J. Marshall; and two sisters, Carole Ward and Geraldine Vaughan.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Medical University of South Carolina.
