Carol Mae Davis

Carol Mae Davis, 91, of Little River, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was daughter of the late William and Sara Haber Goldberg. Carol of the wife of the late Leonard Davis.

The sandy shores of the ocean brought Carol to Myrtle Beach from Greensboro, NC over 40 years ago. She always enjoyed sitting on the beach and the warmth of the sunshine. Her midlife passion was playing tennis and leisurely she loved playing cards, chatting with friends and hosting delicious dinners. Carol was an avid reader of mystery novels, and she enjoyed working crossword puzzles, knitting and most importantly, spending time with her family.

Surviving is her son, Paul Davis; daughters, Andrea (Dennis) Lary, Lauren Davis; and sister, Dorothy Altman. Her grandchildren, Israel Lary, Emily Lary and Matthew Davis along with great-grandchildren, Claire Davis, Caden Davis, Isla Lary, Calix Lary, Ezekiel Lary, Haleigha Lary and Audra Lary also survive her.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory, 11840 Highway 90, Little River, SC 29566. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Carol's honor to the Alzheimer's Association, Alz.org
