Born on November 18, 1936 in Rocky Mount, NC, he was the son of the late Charles Utley and Sudie Jewel Woodson Ramsey.
Mr. Ramsey was a U.S. Navy Veteran and Special Agent to DOT. He was a proud Member and Elder of Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church, where he served many years with a full heart.
Survivors include his loving wife, Veda Jo Linn Ramsey; sons, Timothy W. Ramsey and Todd D. Holyfield and wife Ethel; and grandchildren, Miles and Brantley Holyfield and Hope Ramsey-Lewis. He is predeceased by two brothers, Carlton W. and Linwood J. Ramsey.
