

He was the devoted husband of Sara Kinsler, whom he married on April 19, 1999. Dennis began his career in the state of West Virginia as a highway first responder before moving to South Carolina in 2012, where he then became a SC State SHEP employee until his illness. Dennis was an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Over the past several years, fishing with his son, Grayson, became his favorite pastime.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 26 years, Sara are sons, Grayson Brown, Eric Brown, Joshua Brown; daughters, Kelly Brown (Billy), Kimberly Kinsler; brothers, Gary Kinsler (Rosa), Robert Kinsler, Alan Kinsler; and a very special niece, Kaela. Dennis is also survived by grandchildren, Makaley, Drayden, Jaylen, Alexander, and Madalen. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Lee Kinsler, Jr.
The family extends sincere gratitude to Sabian, his former boss, for his dear friendship and breakfast outings. Also, a special thank you to Gentiva Hospice, especially Dennis’ nurse, Teresa as well as her husband, Brian.
A Celebration of Life for Dennis will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Mt. Leon Baptist Church, 9801 S. Hwy 905 Longs, SC. Officiating will be Rev. Andy Bell and Rev. Richard Wilson.
