Born on 17 October, 1933, in Kannapolis, NC, she was the daughter of Dewey & Nellie Beck.
Doris was a member of Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church. She retired from Wachovia Bank in Charlotte,NC before moving to Little River in 1989.
Survivors include Robert Michael Smith of Little River; Renée Shiffler (Don) of Albuquerque, NM; two grandchildren, Stacy Copp (David) of Irvine, CA; David Shiffler of Ogden, UT and great granddaughters Lydia & Leila Copp.
A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, 14 February at Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
