George M. Warren III

George M. Warren, III, of Little River, SC, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018.

He was born February 18, 1952 in Bristol, VA, son of Merle Musser Watkins and George M. Warren, Jr.

A graduate of Hargrave Military Academy, he attended Emory and Henry College. George enjoyed a career as a small business owner, Sergeant with the Bristol, Virginia Sheriff’s Office and as a Real Estate Broker in North and South Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his father, George M. Warren, Jr. and sister, Merle Warren Dickert.

George is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Margaret Goodloe Warren; his mother, Musser Watkins Warren of Bristol, VA; brother, James W. Warren, and Karen Cox of Bristol, VA; nephews, George, William and John Dickert.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 6th at 2 pm at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church with interment and reception following the service.
