

Gloria Elmyra Dymott Little, 87, went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2026. Gloria was the widow of Ted R. Little, her husband of 60 years. She was born June 12, 1938, in Winston-Salem, NC, to the late Robert “Jack” Dymott and Edythe Young Dymott.
She was a longtime member of Living Water Baptist Church.
Gloria started her career with Hanes Corp. and later worked with Piedmont Airlines in Revenue Accounting in Winston-Salem, NC. In 1976, she and Ted moved to the North Myrtle Beach area and became owner-operators of the Flo-Inn Motel in Cherry Grove until 1983. After managing two well-known breakfast restaurants, she started her favorite “job” being Nana to a multitude of children in her home for 20-plus years. It was her calling, talent, and joy. She loved them all, and many still held a special place in her heart.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Knott (James); her son, Brian Little (Martha); three grandchildren, Justin Knott, Sara Little, and Leigh Anne Little Haynes (Ethan); three great-grandsons, Colton Knott, Camden Knott, and Knox Haynes; and her sister, Sandra Allen (Harold).
Visitation will be held at Living Water Baptist Church, 1569 Hwy 9 E, Longs, SC 29568, on March 9, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at Living Water Baptist Church, 1569 Hwy 9 E, Longs, SC 29568, on March 9, 2026, at 11:00 am.
Burial will take place at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens, 5000 Hwy 17, North Myrtle Beach, SC, on March 9, 2026.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
