Hazel Bellamy, age 85, entered into the presence of the Lord on Saturday, October 11, 2025. She passed away peacefully at Loris Nursing Center. Hazel was born in Asheville, NC in 1939. Later in childhood her family relocated to Conway, SC. She graduated from Conway High School in 1958. She was a member of Living Water Baptist Church and was a faithful servant of the Lord. Hazel was involved in many different ministries during her lifetime. However, she was mostly known for her greeting card ministry. She sent countless numbers of cards to friends and family members providing encouragement, support and cheer. She married Hubby in 1963, and they resided in Little River for the past 62 years. They enjoyed countless hours sitting on their porch overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. Hazel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. While she will be dearly missed by many, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life.
Hazel is survived by her husband, Herbert “Hubby” Bellamy and their four children, Cindy Bellamy, Jamie (Jenny) Bellamy, Karen (Cliff) Bolden, and Kathy (Greg) Osborne. She is survived by her sister, Dee Crotts. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Meagan (Aaron) Davis, Emily (Josh) Ratliff, Lindsey (Ross) Taber, Grace (Dane) Appleyard, Hope Loppnow, Austin Bellamy, Kelsey Olberding, Brittany Parham, Cami Kelly, Dean (Jill) Bolden, Lauren (Kendall) Mason and Jarrett (Hayley) Bolden and several great grandchildren.
