

He leaves behind his wife Donna L. Fusco of Longs, SC; son James A. Fusco of Longs, SC; and daughter Lorin M. and her spouse James D. Flesher of Summerville, SC.
Grandchildren include Anthony J. Fusco of CT, Dominick P. Pistorio, a member of the United States Coast Guard; Maria I. Holmes of Moncks Corner, SC; Payton J. and Alexis M. Flesher of Summerville, SC; and great-grandchild Caleb E. Olszewski.
Close brother Victor Fusco of Newport, RI, and special brother and sister-in-law Gary and Linda LaClair of Hiawassee, GA, are also noted.
Special cousins include James and Wendy Stankevich of Hiawassee, GA, and John and Louise Fusco of Niantic, CT. Close friends James Corville of Ledyard, CT, Mack Kagle of Little River, SC and Michael Bazzano of CT. As well as many other brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends are remembered.
Jim passed away peacefully and quickly of cancer at home surrounded by his family. A long time owner of Treats Pool Water in Uncasville, CT and retired from Colonial Oil of Little River, SC.
Jim was a Licensed Captain in 1981 with a Commercial Fishing Permit in 2001, chartering the vessels “The Gypsy” & “Nothin’s Easy” for several years. Boating and fishing were his beloved pastimes, along with a deep passion for music.
In memory of Jim, there will be a celebration of life held on September 27th, 2025 at Colonial Charters Golf Course Clubhouse located at 301 Charter Dr. Longs SC 29568 From 4 PM.
