John R. Bellek, 83, died February 27, 2020 at Embrace Hospice House, Myrtle Beach, SC.
Born on June 6, 1936 in Grindstone, PA, he was the son of the late Julia Bellek.
John served his country proudly in the U. S. Army. He loved golf and bowling.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Greta Easse Bellek; son, Michael J. Bellek (Elaine); daughter, Lynn M. Heimbach (Herb); brother, David Bellek; sister, Joanne LaTorre (Frank); brother-in-law, Larry Barr; four grandchildren, John R. Bellek, Jeffrey Heimbach (Christine), Jon Heimbach, and Steven Heimbach (Kimberly Brown); and four great grandchildren, Kylie, Grace, Emmalyn and Jack Heimbach. He is predeceased by his sister, June Barr.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Wednesday, March 4 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
