John Karback

A proud US Veteran, John served in the US Marine Corps following high school before joining the Department of Public Works in Lincoln Park NJ. Following retirement in 1991, he and Katherine moved to Little River, SC where they lived until his passing. He was a true outdoorsman and an avid deer hunter. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 63 years, Katherine is his son, John Karback (Diane) and four grandchildren, Stephanie and Meredith Karback, Alexander and Benjamin Grote. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Karback Grote.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory, 11840 Highway 90, Little River, SC 29566.
