

Jon-Paul was born on December 5, 1973 in Washington, GA. He was the son of Richard and Carol Guin Hoffman. He was a graduate of the NMB High School class of 1991. Jon Paul is survived by his children, Gage Hoffman, Samantha Hoffman and Jon Ashton Hoffman and his stepson, Tyler Long. He leaves behind his sister, Jennifer Hoffman Denard, along with her spouse,Glenn, and their two daughters, Heather and Adrienne.
Jon-Paul resided in Little River, SC most of his life. He was an avid fisherman and outdoor enthusiast. He was a self employed commercial fisherman and landscaper. Jon-Paul had recently returned to his home following a stay in Big Pine Key, FL. Jon-Paul made many friends over his lifetime. He enjoyed meeting people and was always willing to go the extra mile for others. It is important to note that Jon-Paul also received an abundance of love and support from various friends and family members.
In keeping with his wishes, Jon-Paul will be cremated and his ashes will be dispensed in the Atlantic Ocean at a later date. The Funeral services will be held at Lee Funeral Home in Little River, SC on Monday, June 8, 2020, at 2:00 PM. A visitation at 1:00 will precede the service.
Memorials may be given to The Star of the Sea Outreach Mission at www.sosmission.org located throughout the Florida Keys. Jon-Paul was both a recipient of the mission project and a volunteer.
The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to all those who showered Jon-Paul with prayer, love and acts of kindness.
