Kay B. McDowell, 78, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Compass Post Acute Rehab in Conway, SC.
Born on March 28, 1938 in Tabor City, NC, she was the daughter of the late A.J. and Bernice Ward Blanton.
Mrs. McDowell is survived by her sister, Linda Curry and brother-in-law, Jimmy McDowell. She is predeceased by her husband A.J. McDowell; sisters, Linda and Betty Blanton, Judy Beheler; brother, Larry Blanton and aunt, Vera Waddell.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, May 6 in Lee Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Strand Senior Center, 2309 Watertower Road, Longs, SC 29568.
