Luciana P. Baeli

Luciana Palazzi Baeli, 83, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 at home with her family by her side. Born in Venice, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Ermanagildo and Teresa Bastianutto Palazzi. She was the wife of Joseph R. Baeli.

A love of family, Luciana and Joseph moved to Little River from New Jersey in 2003, when they were going to be first time grandparents. She took her title of “Mom Mom” very seriously and spoiled Christiana and Braydon with love. Luciana had a fondness of the outdoors and especially enjoyed gardening. She was a magnificent cook who always made too much of everything and just recently shared the secret sauce recipe with Joseph.

In addition to her husband of 57 years, she is survived by her sons, Fabrizio Baeli, Andrew Baeli (wife, Anna) and her two grandchildren, Christiana and Braydon Baeli. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews from the US as well as Pordenone, Italy. She was preceded in death by one brother.
