Marcus loved NASCAR, fishing, and meeting people at his brother’s store.
Marcus is survived by his beloved sisters, Mabel “Blue Eyes” Gooding of Charleston, SC, and Armenta Prince of Loris, SC, as well as his brother Hubert Wood of Wampee, SC.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Clifton Wood, Henderson Wood, R.W. Wood Jr., and Teddy Wood, and by his sisters Cleo Chestnut, Maybelene Edge, Agnes Little, Annie Bell, and Lillie Mae Wood.
A graveside service for Marcus will be held Friday, October 10, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 2357 Water Tower Rd, Longs, SC 29568.
