Marion Kellner

November 12, 1927 - April 14, 2017

Marion Y. "Unky" Kellner died Friday, April 14, 2017 suddenly in her home in Little River S.C. She was 89 years young.

Born November 12, 1927 in Marion, Ohio she was the daughter of Everett and Ruth Uncapher.

She graduated from Harding High School in Marion, Ohio and the Mt. Carmel School of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio. She worked at Mt. Carmel Hospital and taught Sunday School at Bethlehem Lutheran Church for 20 years before retiring to Little River S.C. She truly enjoyed cooking and preparing wonderful meals for her family and friends. She was always willing to help anyone and was a volunteer in several organizations including Grand Strand Medical Hospital, North Strand, Helping Hands, Mobile Meals and in her Windjammer Village Community.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, William B. Kellner.

Survivors include her close friend Andrew Weldon, her children Dave {Katie} Kellner, Jeff {Sylvia} Kellner, grandchildren Jason, Traci, Amy, Nicki, Eric, Josh and Jennifer, and 8 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at King of Glory Lutheran Church on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 11:00 A.M.
