Patricia Hamrick

Patricia was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, and friend. She loved spending time with family and friends, dedicating her life to caring for her family. She found joy in reading, golfing with Dad, her boys and friends, watching sports, gardening and travelling.

Patricia is survived by her sons Paul Jr and wife Karen Hamrick of Oak Island, NC and Rodney Hamrick and partner Felita Hayes of Charlotte, NC, who rejoice in the promise that as a follower of Jesus Christ “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” She was preceded in death, by parents Daniel Webster and Virginia Melton, two brothers and six sisters, and her loving husband Paul Sr.

Services will be private at the family’s request. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, a cause meaningful to her that affects the lives of so many.

Patricia will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will live on through her family and friends. We will carry her memory in our hearts forever.

In His light, we find comfort. Psalm 73:26 says, “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
