Selfido Orlando Aguirre Mendez, 49, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023. Born on December 5, 1973, in Guatemala, he was a son of Rosaria de Maria Mendez Martinez and the late Vincente Aguirre Martinez.
A resident of the United States for 25 years, Selfido worked as a cook, currently with his wife at La Promesa Mexican Restaurant. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Surviving are his wife of 13 years, Gilma Rodriguez; daughter, Josselyn Roxana Aguirre Leon; son, Darwin Orlando Aguirre Leon; stepchildren, Cindi Alarcan, Paola Alarcan, Kevin Alarcan, Nolvis Alarcan Rodriguez, and Edvin Alarcan Rodriguez.
The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a memorial service at beginning at noon.
