Sheila Leitner

She is survived by her devoted husband of over 40 years, Joseph Leitner; daughters, Christine Sidari (Vincenzo), Kim Crofoot-Franco (Robert); grandchildren, Gary Hauser, Andrew Crofoot-Franco, Anthony Franco, Alexander Franco; sisters, Elizabeth McCann and Rosemary Leidemann.

Sheila retired from the Liberty Fire Department, Liberty, MO, following a dedicated career as an administrative assistant. She and Joseph purchased a second home in North Myrtle Beach in 1995 and in 2003, they moved from Liberty to North Myrtle Beach. They attended Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.

A love of the outdoors, Sheila enjoyed swimming and boating with her husband. She also had a fondness for the theater. Sheila volunteered at the North Myrtle Beach Humane Society. She had a love for the animals and rescued first Rikkijo and following her death, she adopted Krissy.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church at a later day.
