Steven P. Wiles

While attending Bridgeport High School, Steve met his high school sweetheart, Kathryn Fuller who became his wife on April 18, 1970. Steve had a lengthy and successful career with the City of Saginaw Fire Department, retiring in 1999. He was an avid golfer. Steve and Kathy enjoyed vacationing in North Myrtle Beach and following his retirement, they moved to Longs, SC. An honest Christian man, Steve was a member of Valorous Church. He was skillful in carpentry, reliable and most importantly, loved helping others. Steve will be missed by all who loved him but his memory will forever be cherished.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 53 years, Kathy, is his son Steven Wiles (fiancé, Lauranne Lynch), daughter Melissa Wiles Wiggin (husband, Gregg); and 16 grandchildren. Two sisters and two half-brothers preceded him in death.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory, 11840 Highway 90, Little River, SC.
