Mr. Crawford was my sixth grade teacher at Indian Heights Elementary school back in the 1980's.  I have never forgotten what a great teacher he was or how much fun we had in his class. I love that the obituary mentioned the awesome way he taught history because it was so true. I remember how he would stand in front of class and reenact stories from history. He made it fun and memorable. He made it come to life and learning was fun. I'm so glad he was able to enjoy his retirement and do the things he loved to do. It was very obvious that history was a passion of his. He made history an interest of mine and a theme of my vacations throughout my adulthood. Thank you, Mr. Crawford. You were one of the best!
