Tom was born on January 9, 1957 in Lumberton, NC. Son of the late Horace and Mildred (Mercer) Wilkins.
He was a US Army reserve veteran.
He owned and operated T&W Services, pool service company.
He is survived by two sons; Dakota L. Benjamin and Christopher Wilkins. A grandson, James Kelly.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Wilkins and a sister, Sharon Paige.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
