Timothy Sheats

Tim was born on November 8, 1962 in Piqua, OH. Son of the late James and Yvonne De Lance (Selsor) Sheats.

Tim graduated from Piqua High School in 1981, and proudly served his country in the US Army. He loved watching sports, collecting sports cards memorabilia, and was an avid fan of the Carolina Hurricanes. Most recently, He was a truck driver for Palmetto Corporation in Conway, SC.

Tim is survived by his children, Melody L. Sheats of Little River and Matthew A. Sheats (Yuri) of Navarre, Florida; two brothers, Thomas Sheats, of Troy, OH and James Sheats (Millie) of Piqua, OH; three sisters, Mary Hale of Troy, OH, Yvette McCarel (Mike) of Piqua, OH, and Amy Sloan (Rob) of Sidney, OH; five grandchildren, Max Pirro, Brittany Zwiebel, Taylor Zwiebel, Nick Sheats, Ryan Sheats; and great-grandson, Kaden Young.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023 in Lee Funeral Home Chapel, 11840 Hwy 90, Little River SC.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center, 421 Hwy 57 South, Little River, SC 29566.
