Tony was known by many for his kind and gentle heart that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.
He has worked in landscaping for almost 20 years. He enjoyed building and creating unique furniture and home décor pieces in his spare time.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dewey C. Hefner Jr, brother, Dewey “Butch” Hefner, and grandson, Anthony Fleming
He is survived by his mother, Dixie Scott Holt, his brothers, H. Dean Hefner (wife Helen), and David Hefner; his sisters, Donna Storts and Kim Brewer; his daughters, Nicole White (husband Noel), Kristina Hernandez, and Tiffani Wayne; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate his life will be held graveside, in Bear Creek, NC at a later date.
